‘Choice Time’

Pre-school enjoy accessing all the areas of provision within the pre-school. The children have access to our outdoor canopy area, as well as the reception classroom. The provision is planned for based around the children’s interests. ‘Baking’ in the play dough area is one of their favourite activities to engage in. We also learn about the seasons throughout the year. Pre-school are currently planting beans and sunflowers. We have lots of flowers in our outdoor area for the children to take care of. We are lucky enough to have some frogspawn and we are observing the changes to they will make over the next few weeks.

The children in pre-school are encouraged to become independent learners and learn from each other, as well as the practitioners.

Assembly

Pre-school are very much part of school life. They hosted an assembly for the rest of the school.
