Reception class became ‘strawberry pickers’

Reception class enjoyed picking our homegrown strawberries. Then, we did some observational drawings of the strawberries, in craft club. Of course we had to taste them! The children described them as, “mouth watering” “delicious” “super” and very very “juicy”.

Reception have been doing a spot of gardening by growing their own potatoes. Once picked Mrs Nuttall kindly cooked them for the children to eat.
