Year 1 have been learning all about Pompeii during their history lessons. They have taken a keen interest in Mount Vesuvius, so Mrs Doney kindly gave us a ‘build your own volcano kit!’ The children have enjoyed creating the mixture to pour into the mould, painting the volcano once it had set, and mixing the eruption powder to make a bubbling lava flow! 🌋 I think Miss Earnshaw enjoyed doing it just as much as the children.
