Summer School - Week 2
Well, that’s a wrap for Summer School! We finished off a very busy fortnight today in style! We made pizzas, created a lovely banner with our favourite memories of Summer School and enjoyed a film with some tasty treats in the hall. Well done to our lovely children, we hope that you have had a great time with us βΊοΈ
What a fantastic penultimate day of Summer School we have had! After another picnic lunch, we headed on to the field for an afternoon of music, dancing, sport and a surprise bouncy castle π° Then we took a little break from all of this to enjoy a delicious ice cream from the ice cream van!π¦ π
Day 3 of week 2 was a busy one! We made some very chocolatey crispy cakes, then after a picnic lunch we saw the return of the slip and slide! We had a water fight, played in the forest school area and refuelled with a refreshing ice pop πβοΈ
Day 2 of week 2 of Summer School was spent on the field. This morning, the children enjoyed pond dipping and playing in the mud kitchen before the rain made another appearance. After lunch, we set up the canopy, sang songs around the campfire and enjoyed some delicious s’mores!
We had quite a wet start to our second week of Summer School but thankfully, the rain didn’t dampen our spirits! We got creative in the morning and were busy with the Hama beads and painting. After lunch, we were in for a real treat when the children put on a talent show! We were thrilled by an array of skills from singing and acting to paper folding and Pokémon facts! We ended the show with a beautiful piece of music on the piano πΉ
