On Tuesday 24th September 14 children from Year 5&6 took part in a cross-country race at Towneley Park. Every child put 100% effort into their performance, and we were very proud as staff to watch and cheer them on to the end. They showed great determination, and all finished the race with a smile on their face. We had two runners who finished in the top 10 (Harper 4th & Roman 6th) which was a fantastic achievement. A special mention to Harper who rallied to support her teammates, even running back to children still competing to run beside and motivate them to the finish line, great sportsmanship Harper! A huge well done to each and every pupil!
