On Wednesday 2nd October, 8 children from Year 4 attended a Tag Rugby Festival. The children enjoyed working as a team to learn a variation of skills such as, how to run together and pass the ball in the correct direction, the technique used to throw and catch a rugby ball, what to do when a tag is taken and how to score a try in a match. The children had lots of fun and used up a lot of energy constantly on the move in every activity. Well done to all who took part and to one of our pupils for achieving a School Games award for his determination throughout the event.
